to perfect fluency in English before entering the professional world

Course content and organisation

This course is divided into three workshops of four to five classes. The three workshops are entitled English in the Professional Context, Crossing Cultural Boundaries and Abstracts & Presentations.

The topics covered include communication in a professional environment (applications and interview role plays),  cultural issues in a multi-national context and English communication  skills for engineers.

The activities target fluency in both formal and informal situations, with or without prior preparation (written and spoken), efficient comprehension in a variety of situations, written abstracts for scientific reports and presentations of a scientific or technical nature – including via video-conferencing methods.
