PrerequisitesThe search for an internship is carried out in guided autonomy, in the continuity of the orientation and professional integration process implemented in the first year and formalised in the e-portfolio of skills, Portfolio of Experiences and Skills (PEC). Have written a CV, a cover letter and have conducted mock job interviews during the Thursday alumni meetings, the Forum, ... Have participated in events organised with companies (forums, job fairs, dedicated conferences, English CV writing workshops, etc.) Have completed by at least 2 formalized testimonials, the process of connecting with the network of alumni and have obtained the validation of the 3A course (Process "Odyssey" led by the Directorate of Studies). Have participated in the "2A internship information amphitheatre".
Overall objective

During the course, students will have the opportunity to:

  • Transform their knowledge into skills (Check their appropriation and understanding of the lessons followed, Make links between the different courses, Understand the interest of such or such lessons thanks to a concrete application, Revisit the lessons or chapters that are insufficient),
  • Develop their cognitive abilities (reasoning, analysis, synthesis, perspective-taking),
  • Prepare/confirm their professional project (technical, research, entrepreneurship),
  • Carry out a moderately complex project independently,
  • Communicate within the organisation with all types of interlocutors, including internationally

Depending on the context, the target skills will be:

  • Use and apply engineering, project management and project leadership methods,
  • Use the tools associated with the research field,
  • Choose and implement techniques and methods for creating a company.

Course content and organisation

This internship can be carried out in a company, in the context of research, entrepreneurship and associations.

Method of validation by the Department of Studies: V/NV (validated / not validated) on the 2A transcript (S8).

Single assessment on the academic side by an ORAL of 10 minutes followed by 5 minutes of exchange in order to:

  • Ensure that the course has gone well and that the trainee is in the right place,
  • Measure the level of involvement in the tasks assigned by the company tutor,
  • Take a step back on the engineer's role among his colleagues and within the company, his responsibilities (projects, human resources, etc.),
  • Quality of the materials, the speech, the posture.

Taking into account the company tutor's assessment of the placement.
