Course content and organisation

This course includes several compulsory classes for training in oral expression and otherwise relies on students working independently on a programme of past papers (typical test tasks for TOEFL, as authentic past papers are not available) and according to a schedule provided by the tutor.

While tutors provide guidance and correction (essentially via email), particularly for written expression, the students correct and evaluate their own work and then address their specific questions to their tutor who will provide personalized feedback.

Regular work is required if the student is to progress and achieve the required level.

N.B. This self-learning module does not exempt students from their topic based second-year module.
