An engineer is expected to have relational and practical skills that will allow him to animate his team reunions as well as brilliantly accomplish his projects. The methodological and practical elements that will be taught during his first year will stand as a foundation for him to build these skills on.
Pedagogical aims:

The student will be faced with real life situations in which he will have to conduct a project and build a concrete answer to a complex problem. The active pedagogy will allow him to confront his thoughts with his work mates in diverse situations, to analyse them from the emerging of the idea to the collective project building. After this activity, the future engineers will be able to understand the process behind a project conducting and to draw useful conclusions that will directly be applied in second and third year's projects as well as in their professional life.
