Objective: Coupled transfers with or without phase change | ||||
Programm: Transfers in polyphase media are current themes that concern large industrial production processes, or energy use, as well as the environmental sector. In fact, industrial processes operate in polyphase systems more and more in order to increase selectivity, decrease reaction time (combustion, for example) and improve product separation (fluidized-bed catalytic reactor, scrubbers, etc.). Moreover, these flows appear during heat transfers with phase changes, notably with evaporation and condensation. Students apply the knowledge they acquire during practical work and tutorials.
