Program and content :

Using the curatorial approach, students will have to take a position (artistically speaking) through other artists works. This initiation will allow them to deal with the different steps that lead to an exposition : from the conceptualization of an idea to the hanging of the works of art, including the budget of such an event.

Designed as an introduction to the professional realities of the artistic activity, this lab will also be devoted to raising students awareness about the different professions involved in artistic events.

Students will have to carry out the different steps relating to the production of an exposition:

• development of the speech
• approach of space
• budget
• communication
• hanging

This lab's philosophy relies on an entrepreneurial approach:

producing an exposition raises plenty of problems, let's find creative solutions to face them with the means available. Do It Yourself
