Objective : Give an overview of water and waste treatment |
Educational objectives :
Waste and water treatment has become a major social and industrial issue. The goal of this course is to give a global overview of this topic and to detail, on one hand the regulations as well as the role state organisms play and, on the other hand, the existing treatment methods. To this end we will rely on the course from the I2E major. Examples will be given by speakers exterior to the school. Contents - Program : - Water treatment

- Reprocessing industrial waste water : technologies employed and visit of a sewage treatment plant

- Waste treatment and recycling industries, idea of secondary raw materials and examples of dedicated sectors
- Case-study of industrial waste incineration
