Objective : Deepening the concepts of hazard, risk and vulnerability

 

This course presents the impact of various natural hazards on communities in general and structures built in particular, and the regulation and practice of prevention related to those risks.


The course is particularly interested in:
seismic hazard
hazards associated with underground cavities
flood hazard
methods of prioritization
vulnerability assessment methods
method of consideration of uncertainties
