Objective : to give some economic culture as well as the basic tools to progress more easily during the second and third years courses

Program and Contents : The course is structured into three parts: 1) Macroeconomics (4 lectures), E.-A. Lambert: after a lecture displaying the main stakes, students will participate in debates over questions of economic problems and policy. Lecture 1: Economic growth Lecture 2: Unemployment Lecture 3: Inflation Lecture 4: Budgetary and monetary policies 2) Microeconomics (2 lectures), E.-A. Lambert: the aim is to understand how economics takes into account the behavior of consumers and firms Lecture 5: the consumer Lecture 6: the producer 3) Economics of the firm (3 lectures), S.
