Objective: Automation, instrumentation et basics of industrial control | |||||||
Program and content : Teaching goals: This course is designed to students who have only studied the basics of automation and control engineering. Content: • Description of systems in transfer function form and state equations • Canonical representations • Stability study study • Regulatory and servo principles for mono-variable systems • Static and dynamic performances – stability/accuracy compromise • Commandability and observability in state-space (multivariable systems) • Control by state feedback • Installation of a state observer, pole placement • System control by output feedback • Kalman filtering A software (Matlab or Scilab) will allow to illustrate some concepts. | |||||||
