ASSESSMENT
The methods of testing are adapted to the content of the course and the number of students, respecting the pedagogical orientation of the school which aims at a continuous and integral assessment.
An engineering student’s evaluation is based on the knowledge and skills he has acquired as well as on his behavior (respecting deadlines, presence and participation in class, etc.) and is applied to each teaching unit that has been assigned a certain number of ECTS credits: a system for assessment, transfer and accumulation of study credits within the European higher education area.
The evaluation grid is made up of seven levels.

GRADE POINT AVERAGE - GPA
A grade point average is a number representing the average value of the accumulated final grades earned in courses over time. More commonly called a GPA, a student’s grade point average is calculated by adding up all accumulated final grades and dividing that figure by the number of grades awarded. This calculation results in a mathematical mean or average of all final grades.
SPECIFIC CRITERIA FOR LANGUAGES
Like the other disciplines, the language program is subject to regular assessment. The student’s level is validated by external exams administered by the University of Cambridge (English), the Goethe Institute (German), and the University of Salamanca (Spanish). Validating the credits associated with languages, of which some are attributed by obtaining an external diploma, fulfills the language requirement necessary for obtaining a diploma from the school.
